Die Mischung ist keine herkömmliche organische Mischung, sie basiert auf Graphit- und Silikonfasern, die in ein organisches, aus zwischen 12 und 18 Komponenten in Partikelform bestehendem Material eingelassen sind. Die Rückplatte wird unter Hitze und hohem Druck mit dem Belag pressverklebt, damit keine Luftblasen zwischen Platte und Belag entstehen können.
Die STREET CERAMIC Beläge finden auf Motorrädern Einsatz, die nicht standardmäßig mit Sintermetall Bremsbelägen ausgestattet sind. Zum Beispiel: Honda CN & CB’s, Kawasaki EN & KZ’s, Suzuki GN & GS’s, Yamaha XS & XJ’s und Harley Davidsons. Kombiniert mit den HF Vorderradbremsbelägen gewährleisten LF Beläge eine stabile und gut ausgewogene Bremsleistung. Um Überbremsen auf dem Hinterrad zu vermeiden, liegt der Reibwert der LF Beläge leicht unter dem Wert der HF Beläge, vergleichbar mit dem Konzept der Erstausrüstung.

BS´ Belagsmischung für Einsteiger, die STREET CERAMIC Mischung, verwendbar für die meisten Sport-, Touring- und Custom-Modelle, ist für den täglichen Pendelverkehr und Tourenfahrten die erste Wahl.
Diese Beläge sind garantiert asbest- und bleifrei. Mittels des UCT - Prozesses wird beim Vermischen der Komponenten zur Belagsmischung eine gleichmäßige Struktur der Fasern erreicht und so eine durchgängig gleichmäßige Konsistenz sichergestellt. Die Materialkonsistenz ist einer der wichtigsten Faktoren, um einen stabilen und langlebigen Belag zu erhalten. Ein anderer wichtiger Faktor für den Kunden ist natürlich der Preis. SBS kommt mit dieser Mischung den beiden Faktoren nach, ohne an Leistungsgrenzen bei Anwendung unter nassen oder trockenen Bedingungen zu stoßen.
